By the analyses of clinical records and cytology specimen of 262 epithelial abnormalities of the uterine cervix, including cervical cancer and severe dysplasia, the accuracy of the primary screening by cytology was estimated at 86.5% and secondary screening by colposcopy and biopsy examination at 97.1%. Thus the accuracy of screening cervical abnormality in total was estimated at 84%.
