| 内容記述 | 近年、OECD加盟国の多くが保健医療システムの業績に関する制度的な枠組みを開発し、保健医療分野における業績情報の公開と業績マネジメントに関する経験の共有に国際的な関心が高まっている。カナダにおける保健医療分野の業績への取り組みは、国、州、地域保健局、医療提供機関等の多層的なレベルで発展してきた。国レベルでは、CIHI(カナダ保健医療情報研究機関)が全国の保健医療情報を収集・分析・公表し、州レベルでは各州の保健省が保健行政の戦略計画において業績情報を活用し、提供機関レベルでは、州内の病院間の業績情報の公開・比較が行われている。本稿では、オリタリオ州を例に、保健医療業績システムを概観した。各レベルで用いられる業績情報の範囲と活用の目的、方法は異なるが、業績情報の活用が促進されつつある傾向は明らかである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Recently, most OECD countries have developed the institutional framework on performance management in health care. An interest has increased to share experiences and information between countries on publications of performance data and performance management in the health care field. In Canada, performance measurement in the health care field has been developed in three levels; federal, provincial and health care providers. At the federal level, CIHI (Canadian Information Health Institute) collects the data throughout the country, analyzes and publishes it. The provincial government, like MHLTC (Ministry of Health and Long-term Care) in Ontario, plans the strategy and executes using the performance management framework. As for providers, OHA (Ontario Hospital Association) reports contain the performance data of almost all the hospitals in the province, and the data is used to compare hospitals with each other. However different the purpose, the role and the scope of data between each level, it is clear that the use of performance data has been accelerated and relied upon. | |||||
