| 内容記述 | 1975年に月刊絵本「こどものくに」から発表された『おしゃかさま どこに おいでになるの』は、2月15日の涅槃会に関連した絵本である。この作品は、死んでしまったブッダの行方を探すうさぎが行く先々でブッダを感じる物語になる。表現されるブッダ像からは、「法身」と「色身」といった仏教思想が読みとれる一方で、仏教経典に記されるブッダの教えとは異なる点もある。それが「「わたしのからだは死んでも、わたしはいつもあなたたちと一緒にいますよ」と、いわれました」という解説文に記されるブッダの遺言である。このような「あなたと共にいるブッダ」を感じる物語の成立には、作者である三好碩也や、「こどものくに」編集長の安井淡と交流があった武市八十雄からの影響がある。至光社の月刊絵本「こどものせかい」で多数のキリスト教絵本を制作した武市は、感じる世界を絵本で表現しようとした。そのコンセプトが仏教絵本に反映されたのである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | "Oshaka-sama dokoni oideni naruno" was published in 1975 by “Kodomo no Kuni”, a monthly picture book publication. This picture book was produced in connection with the Nirvana Festival on February 15th, and tells the story of a rabbit searching for the whereabouts of the dead Buddha, who feels Buddha wherever he goes. While the images of the Buddha in the picture book are based on the Buddhist philosophy of "dharma-kāya" and "rūpa-kāya," they differ in some respects from the Buddha's teachings as recorded in the Buddhist scriptures. In the commentary to the picture book, it is stated that Buddha's last words were "My body may die, but I will always be with you.” The reason for creating a picture book on the theme of feeling Buddha's presence with you can be attributed to the influence of a man named Takeichi Yaso-o with whom the author, Sekiya Miyoshi, and "Kodomo no Kuni" editor-in-chief, Tan Yasui, had been in contact. Takeichi, who had produced many Christian picture books in “Kodomo no Sekai” (monthly picture books published by Shiko-Sha company Ltd), was a man who tried to express "the world of feeling" in his picture books, and it was this concept that gave birth to a picture book on the theme of feeling Buddha. |
